New York Corporate Project

Concept

Franklin Templeton united seven New York offices under one roof at One Madison Avenue, a 347,000-square-foot home that embodies Clarity, collaboration, and community. This move transforms a once-dispersed workplace into a cohesive environment where connection happens naturally, and teams operate in harmony. The design emphasizes transparency and flow, reflecting the company's commitment to openness and shared purpose. At its heart, the 1lth floor serves as a communal retreat-a place of belonging and rejuvenation that offers respite from the concrete and steel of the city, inviting people to pause, connect, and be inspired.

Parametric Design

Plan

Elevator Lobby

As part of my design exploration, I drew inspiration from the park environment, extracting and abstracting its elements to inform the spatial concept. Utilizing Grasshopper as a parametric tool, I translated these elements into the generation and design of the space.

Stair

The staircase is designed to ensure structural integrity and functional performance, while preserving visibility and natural light at the entrance, and simultaneously transforming spatial perception through its sculptural form.
